I hope this finds you well. We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Heidi McDaniel to Bromley. She will be my replacement and I think you all are going to love her. She comes to us with 5+ years experience teaching 3rd grade. She also knows a bit about this transition we all are going through. She had to leave her class in December to move here to Colorado! I have really enjoyed working beside her this week and I think you all are going to enjoy her as well.<br />Mrs. McDaniel and I have set up conference times over the next two weeks. We will be holding conferences on Monday 1/31, Tuesday 2/1, Thursday 2/3 and Monday 2/7. Please see your email for times that are still available.<br />That being said the kids have been great this week. They have been working hard in class and have been very interested in getting to know Mrs. McDaniel. As my last two weeks are wrapping up Mrs. McDaniel will be taking over the lessons gradually. This will make the change for the kids much smoother. We will also be making changes in the room too. All of these things will help the kids to accept the change and to see that it will be OK.<br />My family continues the very interesting journey of an international move. We have discovered that we cannot take our fish, they have to be quarantined. We have found a home for our goldfish, but still are looking for a home for our bigger tank of silver dollars. We are also looking for a home for our oldest cat Riley. We are concerned the move may be too stressful so we are hoping to find a nice, comfortable, home for her. If you know of anyone who may want some fish or a cat please let us know!!<br />Thanks so much!!
